Clinical Care

Care tailored to each resident

Every resident benefits from an individual care plan, developed by our highly-qualified clinical care specialists in consultation with resident, and if necessary, their family. Our tailored clinical care programs are specifically designed to ensure that each resident’s individual care and wellbeing needs are met.

Ongoing review

Of course, each person’s needs vary, and can change over time, which is why clinical care is never a once-off – it’s an ongoing review process carried out by Doctors, Registered Nurses, and other allied Health Care Providers.

For some people, clinical care might require a more involved level of personal care, including showering, dressing and grooming, physiotherapy, memory care and health monitoring.

Doctors & Other Allied Health Care Professionals

We are fortunate to have doctors, Dentist, Chiropractor, Hearing Aid Specialists and a Pathology Clinic on site during working hours.

We also have a Dietitien and Podiatrist visiting and providing services to our residents.

Healthy living for body and soul

At MHAACS, each residence has a dedicated lifestyle coordinator who not only looks after the overall activity and social program of the community, but also helps to tailor an individual lifestyle program for each resident. A rewarding and fulfilling life is one that’s social, stimulating and inspiring.

Your home, your pastimes

We take the time to fully understand what makes our residents happy, and then we work hard to ensure their social need are met. As well as general activities such as gardening, reading, movies, music, parties, cultural celebrations, art and craft sessions, and daytrips, lifestyle staff can also cater for many specialist interests. We’ve arranged blackjack,  milestone celebrations and more.

At MHAACS we have a dedicated Projects Coordinator that runs special groups of innovative activities to improve the lifestyle of our residents.

While MHAACS continually revises the lifestyle programs on offer to suit the needs of the residents, currently we run the following activities.

  • Active games including carpet bowls & exercise.
